DJAN is a multi-racial, multi-ethnic, multi-issue national network of individuals, congregations, organizations, and ministries within the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), all working together to promote greater justice, peace, inclusion, and celebration of diversity in our churches, our nations (especially the U.S. and Canada), and our world.
Members of DJAN work hard to keep alive a passion for justice in our churches, and we work closely with others--in denominational, ecumenical, interfaith, and secular-religious coalitions--to build the Beloved Community that was preached by Dr. King and is grounded in the Biblical vision of peace, justice, and wholeness for all creation.
